Walkaround Redlees Park

One of the most understated and underused public places in Blantyre we think is the new park at Redlees. For those people who aren’t aware of the park, it’s located on the left hand side of Blantyre Farme Road, just as you leave Blantyre heading over to Uddingston. Indeed, its literally right on our doorstep. The park was recently created from an old unused quarry, and has been upgraded to be made safe with fences, walkways and even a picnic area. It’s an ideal place to walk your dogs, or take your children on a nice sunny day.

I’m sure the people who have been there will agree, it’s a very peaceful, scenic and serene spot.

You can see a quick walkaround of the park here, courtesy of a video found on Youtube.
